llms.txt Explained: The File That Tells AI Engines Who You Are

llms.txt is not a shortcut and not a ranking trick. A model still weighs what the rest of the internet says about you far more heavily than what you say about yourself. A business with no reputation anywhere does not become recommendable by writing a file.
